Meet the Team
Dave Stock
FounderDave Stock was born in Omaha, Nebraska and grew up with four brothers. His father, being an avid outdoorsman, instilled a love of nature at an early age. Dave built on that love of nature as a member of the Boy Scouts of America. He spent a lot of time camping locally and making big trips the the mountains and national parks.
Dave has business experience in managing departments for large corporations and public utilities. Past work includes many years working hard outdoors, whether it was walking acrost the U.S. mapping out pipeline systems or leading construction teams. He changed companies a few years back because he wanted to work locally so he could make an impact on the community he lives in. He thrives on taking undermanaged broken teams and building them to world class status. He identifies problems, inefficiencies, and missing processes. He then creates continually improving roadmaps that quickly shift the department in the right direction. He also thrives on inspiring people on his team to find their best life and map out how to get there. Now, he is applying those skills to build ecologically thriving communities.
His dad had so many trees in his yard that a neighbor made the comment ‘you would plant trees on your roof if you could’. Carrying on that tradition, neighbors that didn’t know Dave’s name for the first couple of years called him ‘The Tree Guy’. He has worked to inspire people to transform their yards the same way, but quickly realized people seeing an amazing yard that brings peace of mind isn’t enough to inspire action. Most people would love to transform their yards, but there are many challenges getting in their way. We’ll cover more of that in the roadmap page.
Ready to get to work?
Action coming soon…
The founder is partnering with several like minded peers and volunteers to get things kicked off in the right direction. Soon, remaining board members will be chosen to help guide the non profit. Work is being done to attain tax exempt status and grow the organization.
